Features of Reliance Netconnect Broadband+ include:
* Wireless Broadband for Laptops & Desktops
* 20 times faster with speed upto 3.1 Mpbs
* Simply Plug & Play
* Fastest uploads at a speed upto 1.8Mbps
* Seamless network across 20,000 towns and 4.5 lac villages

Reliance EVDO Tariff

Please note the last line in the above tariffs. Unlimited usage plans will have a fair usage policy of 10GB/month. Beyond which customer will be charged at Rs. 2/- per MB. This means after 10GB we will be charged. Earlier airtel brought such a policy, but they never charged users extra after the limit, only speed was decreased. Here Reliance is clearly violating the term UNLIMITED, same plan after 10GB will be charged for additional usage.

Hello Egorg,
This is George from Puthussery, Palghat ( 7 kms from Palghat on the palghat Coimbatore Highway NH47) where we have feasibility problem for Wired broadband.
For me the BSNL EVDO works extraordinarily good at my Home,Puthussery (100 meters from NH47) as well at my office in Lakshmi Mill junction on Avinashi road, Coimbatore.
I had tested TataIndicom , Reliance USB internet device but none had sufficient range inside home. ( the personnel from tataindicom and reliance came down for a testing and I am happy about it)
I get 5 sticks EVDO range most of the time and 4 Sticks EVDO range all the time at my home in puthussery and I pressume that there is a BSNL CDMA tower near my home and not many EVDO users around.
1X users with WLL phone I beleive are many in the area.
There is no way you can get a BSNL EVDO tested as how I could do with reliance and TataIndicom.
However if you can get to know if there is any BSNL CDMA tower near to your home and if you are within 2 kms of its radius I beleive you would have excellent EVDO range. ( 1x would show excellent range in such areas I tested this with a WLL phone before going for EVDO connection)
Or may be when I am in cochin next time we can try out the EVDO Range on my device.
BSNL EVDO is Cool (as long as it works) at Rs.650/- data unlimited download with National roaming and it also supports Voice calls with a key pad in the software application but BSNL has blocked voice for the time being.
Earlier I had taken the same device in a remote place in bangalore where I used to stay however even 1X never used to work and I had to return the device.
So happy surfing with an EVDo in the coming days.
Regards,
George

Reliance will give you public ip in any of their connections, net card, evdo, broadband anything. BUT, beware of incorrect billing. :(

the above plan is completely misleading....they are faking the speed....cos i use bsnl broadband which has a download speed of jus 2 mbps (not 3.4mbps,i get speed of 260kbps and i am able to download a 6mb (not 5mb) file in jus 40seconds!!!yes its true...it takes 6 secs for 1 mb to be complete ....these reliance card have download speed of 500kpbs and still it takes 1.3 mins for a 5mb file!!!!!somethin is really fishy...so guys beware before taking reliance...
