BSNL EVDO with 3.1 mbps !

As per yesterday's Times of India Ad. - Pune edition - on 2nd last page, BSNL has started giving new devices having 3.1 mbps speed.

Since nobody has talked about it, it seems a new thing. Has anybody experienced this ?

Yes BSNL started this service and working good in bangalore. i'm using this with good results.
